What is the processing method of the drafting machine?

The drafting machine is a kind of mechanical equipment used in the drafting and twisting process of polyamide fiber, polyester fiber and polypropylene filament production. The polyester, polyamide fiber, polypropylene filament (POY, UDY) spun by the spinning machine has certain linear density (fineness), strength, elongation and other physical properties after being drawn and twisted, and can be used for weaving directly or after being sprayed.

The processing methods of texturing machine deformations are generally divided into two categories: the first type is the processing methods of stretchable deformations, mainly including the following five types.

(1) False twist method: the silk strips processed by this method have higher fleeciness and elasticity, and are widely used in knitting and woven fabrics.

(2) Packing box method: a pair of crimping rollers are fed into the packing box by the wire strips, which are deposited until the pressure is enough to overcome the resistance of the backpressure device and drag out. This method is often used in the post-processing of staple fiber, which is generally cut into short fiber and blended with other fibers.

(3) Rubbing method: the wire strips are continuously brushed from the blade of the rubbing body. The rubbing body is taken as the fulcrum and the rubbing force is used to give the crimping deformation. The filaments are brushed on one side and heat-set on the other, and processed into brushed deformed filaments. Its elasticity is medium, crimp slightly coarsely.

(4) Configuration method: the filaments pass through a pair of gears. On one side, the tooth shape of the filaments is deformed, and on the other side, the filaments are shaped by heat shaping and processed into a textured filaments. Its elasticity is a bit lower, crimp thicker.

(5) Composite fiber crimp method: it makes use of the difference of thermal shrinkage of high polymer, the low-shrinkage substance is the outer side, the high-shrinkage substance is the inner side, and is made of parallel or leather core structure fiber by spinning with the same spinneret hole. This kind of fiber strips are stretched, and then processed with spiral crimp deformable wire by tension and heat shaping. Its elasticity is small, crimp thick.
