Maintenance of centrifugal host machine

1. Clean the centrifugal cavity frequently with soft cloth or tissue paper to keep the centrifugal cavity dry and clean. The surface of the centrifuge and the centrifuge chamber can be cleaned by soaking the neutral cleaner with a soft cloth (such as Solution 555 diluted 10 times). The surface of the centrifuge can be disinfected with 70% alcohol. To ensure the normal operation of the instrument, the condensed water in the centrifugal chamber should be dried after centrifugation and the centrifugal chamber should be kept clean and dry. The sealing ring on the door of the centrifugal chamber can be cleaned with tissue paper or soft cloth every 3 months. The sealing ring on the door of the centrifugal chamber shall be daubed with vacuum grease to ensure the vacuum degree reaches a good state. If the cavity door O ring is found to be worn or scratched, it should be replaced immediately. A professional engineer will PM the machine regularly.

Cleaning of swivel head. In the use of swivel head, the swivel head should be cleaned regularly to prevent corrosion. In case of sample overflow, the head and accessories should be cleaned immediately.

(1). Remove the "O" seal ring or gasket for cleaning with plastic or wood tools. Do not use metal tools to prevent scratches.

(2). Clean the swivels and accessories with a neutral cleaner or Beckman Solution 555 cleaning Solution and a soft brush.

(3). After the swivel head is cleaned with water, the swivel head body or bucket is inverted to dry.

(4). Clean the "O" type seal ring or gasket regularly. It is recommended to replace the "O" type seal ring or gasket twice a year (or as required).
