What are the daily maintenance methods of monofilament drawing testing machine?

The core of daily maintenance of monofilament drawing testing machine is "regular cleaning, accurate calibration and component maintenance", which can not only prolong the service life of equipment, but also ensure the accuracy and stability of test data.

I. Daily basic maintenance

Cleaning the surface of the equipment: wipe the machine body, console and touch screen with dry cloth to remove dust and fiber debris (especially around the clamping area and sensor) to avoid impurities from affecting the operation of moving parts.

Check the clamping device: clean up the residual samples, glue stains or wear debris at the clamping mouth of the fixture, and make sure that the fixture is flexible to open and close, free from jamming and looseness, and the anti-slip lines at the clamping mouth are not seriously worn.

Check the running status: after starting the machine, observe whether there is abnormal sound or vibration in the operation of the equipment, check whether the emergency stop button and limit switch are sensitive and whether the hydraulic/pneumatic system (if any) has no leakage.

Environmental finishing: keep the periphery of the equipment dry and tidy, avoid dust and humid environment, stay away from strong magnetic field and heat source, and prevent parts from rusting or electronic components from failing.

Second, the weekly key maintenance

Lubrication of key parts: Apply special lubricating oil (such as lithium-based grease) to the moving parts such as transmission system (lead screw, guide rail) and fixture shaft, and the amount of application should be appropriate to cover the surface of the parts each time to avoid excessive dust accumulation.

Check cables and interfaces: Check whether power cables, sensor connecting wires and data wires are damaged or loose, and the interfaces are clean and free of oxidation to ensure stable signal transmission.

Cleaning the cooling system: clean the dust of the cooling fan and vent of the equipment to avoid overheating of the motor or control system caused by poor cooling and affect the operation of the equipment.

Third, monthly in-depth maintenance

Calibration core components: use standard weights to calibrate the load sensor, and use standard displacement blocks to calibrate the grating displacement sensor to ensure that the force value and displacement measurement accuracy meet the requirements (calibration results should be recorded and archived).

Check the wear of fixture: evaluate the wear degree of fixture nip. If the anti-skid effect of the nip decreases or scratches appear, replace the nip gasket or the whole fixture in time to avoid the clamping slip from affecting the test data.

Maintenance of test software: backup test data and software parameters, clear software cache, check whether the software version is stable, and update or repair it if necessary.

Maintenance of hydraulic/pneumatic system (if any): check the pressure and quantity of hydraulic oil/compressed air, replace deteriorated oil, and clean the filter to prevent the oil/gas path from being blocked.

Fourth, quarterly and annual maintenance

Comprehensive inspection of the fuselage: check whether the fixing bolts of the fuselage are loose, and whether the steel structure/cast iron fuselage is deformed or corroded. Tighten the bolts or carry out rust prevention treatment if necessary.

Replace the wearing parts: replace the aging wearing parts such as sealing rings, cables and fuses to avoid sudden failures.

Professional calibration and testing: contact the manufacturer or the third party to conduct comprehensive precision calibration and issue a calibration report to ensure that the equipment meets the requirements of industry standards (such as GB and ISO).

Storage and idle maintenance: If the equipment is left idle for a long time, it needs to be cleaned and powered off. Apply antirust oil to the moving parts, cover the fuselage with a dust cover, and start the machine regularly for 10-15 minutes to maintain the parts.

V. Maintenance precautions

Power and pressure must be cut off during maintenance to avoid mechanical misoperation or electric shock risk.

It is forbidden to use corrosive cleaning agents (such as alcohol and acetone) to wipe the touch screen and electronic components to prevent damage to the equipment.

Lubricating oil and hydraulic oil shall be of the model specified in the equipment manual, and different types of oil products shall not be mixed.

Establish a maintenance ledger to record the time, content and calibration results of each maintenance, which is convenient for tracing the equipment status.
